Chaucer Here and Now: Exhibit Coming to the Bodleian Library

Coming to the Bodleian Library: Chaucer Here and Now, an exhibit exploring Geoffrey Chaucer as “a dynamic, global author, whose works have been reworked and reinterpreted over time and around the world.” In addition to displaying some of the earliest extant manuscripts of The Canterbury Tales, the exhibit include memorabilia from contemporary film and theater adaptations, examples of verse and prose re-tellings, and copies of translations from around the world.

The exhibit is curated by Professor Marion Turner, JRR Tolkien Professor of English Literature and Language at the University of Oxford.
