And thanks to John Boje (South Africa), José Francisco Botelho (Brazil), Lauri Pillter (Estonia), Alireza Mahdipour (Iran), and Nazmi Agil (Turkey) for so graciously sharing their time and expertise. It’s been an auspicious start to a fascinating project.
Candace: This is an outstanding posting, and it’s clear that many productive conversations with translators around the world have shaped this piece. I am most excited by how the polyvocality of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales finds expression in such a variety of social and political viewpoints!
