Jonathan Hsy has recently worked with the multimedia platform Throughlines in their mission to support educators with teaching race in premodern contexts. In order to do this, scholars across various disciplines have contributed educational videos, activities, and reading lists, all free for educators to use and incorporate into their syllabi.

Hsy has made several contributions to this platform, including a reading list titled Language, race, and Chaucer adaptations meant to demonstrate the ongoing significance of Chaucer in the modern world, and the timelessness of these works.
